From first login to being paid, in six pictures

Create your account, open your Studio
Sign up choosing “I'm an artist”. After confirming your email you land in your Studio — your dashboard. First stop: Profile & market record. Fill in your biography, your gallery, the price range of your finished works, auction results. This is what makes your prices legible to collectors — ART4 verifies it before marking it “verified”.
Photograph the work — three photos
1 — Full frame: the whole work, straight on, daylight, no glass reflections.2 — Texture: close enough to see the grain of the paper and the hand in the stroke.3 — Your choice: a detail you love, the work in the studio, the verso with your signature — whatever tells its story.
Submit the work
Studio → Submit a work: your three photos, technique, width & height in cm, dominant colours, the price, and how you want to sell — fixed price, sealed offers with a deadline, or on request. Not sure yet? Save it as a draft.
ART4 reviews — then it goes live
We look at every submission next to your market record, usually within 48 hours. Approved: it's live. Not yet right: it comes back with a note explaining what to change — nothing is ever rejected silently. You can withdraw a work from sale at any time.
It sells — you pack and ship
ART4 confirms the sale in writing and coordinates everything through your Messages thread. You pack the work carefully and ship it from your studio with a tracked, insured service — ask your carrier for insurance at the full sale price. The buyer pays the shipping cost; keep the receipt.
You are paid
Once the sale completes you receive the sale price minus ART4's commission of 30% — and if you are one of our founding artists, you keep 80%. No listing fees, no subscription: ART4 earns only when you do.
- Everything stays editable from My studio → My works: price, photos, description. One rule protects buyers — editing a live work returns it to review before going live again.
- ART4 handles the buyer. Payment coordination, questions, shipping arrangements — all through your Messages thread. You create; we sell.
- Your references, verified. We check your gallery and auction references before marking them “verified by ART4” — credibility collectors can trust.
