ART4 is a curated marketplace presenting studies, drafts and works on paper by artists whose finished works have an established market. Every artwork and every artist's market references are reviewed before publication. ART4 acts as an intermediary between artists and buyers.

ART4 currently operates without online payment. Whatever the format shown on an artwork page — Acquire this study, Place an offer (sealed offers until a stated deadline) or Contact us — your request is an expression of interest, not a binding purchase. ART4 then contacts you personally to confirm availability and agree on payment and delivery. A sale is concluded only at that stage, and its exact terms are confirmed to you in writing before you pay anything.

Sealed offers are private, are not visible to other buyers, and do not commit you until a sale is expressly agreed. Prices are displayed in euros. Shipping is charged at actual cost, confirmed with you before any payment; every shipment is sent tracked and insured for the full sale price — if a work is lost or damaged in transit, you are refunded in full.

As a consumer buying at distance, you benefit from a right of withdrawal of 14 days from delivery of the artwork, without having to give a reason. The work must be returned in its original condition. Return arrangements are confirmed with ART4 at the time of sale.

Each work ships from the artist's studio with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist, unless stated otherwise on the artwork page.

Artists submit works and market references through their studio account. Publication is at ART4's discretion; editing a published work returns it to review. Artists warrant that submitted works are authentic, their own, and available for sale, and that declared market references are accurate. ART4's standard commission is 30% of the sale price (reduced rates may apply to founding artists); the exact commercial terms are confirmed in writing with each artist. Artists ship sold works from their studio with a tracked, insured service.

The Parallel, The Index and artist records are provided for information only and constitute neither investment advice nor a guarantee of value. Artworks are not financial instruments; buy what you love.

You are responsible for the confidentiality of your account credentials. ART4 may suspend accounts used fraudulently or in breach of these terms. The site is provided "as is"; ART4 makes reasonable efforts to keep it available and accurate but does not warrant uninterrupted operation.

These terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, we will first seek an amicable solution — write to contact@art4-all.com. Consumers may also resort to the European online dispute resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
