How shipping works.

Every work ships directly from the artist's studio — packed by the hands that made it — with a tracked carrier. ART4 coordinates the shipment between you and the artist and shares the tracking details with you.

Every shipment is insured for the full sale price, without exception. If a work is lost or damaged in transit, you are refunded in full. The insurance is part of the shipping cost — it is never optional and never your risk.

The artwork price is the artist's price — shipping is charged separately, at its actual cost. Because works travel from different studios with different carriers, the exact cost is quoted for your specific acquisition and confirmed with you in writing before you pay anything. There are no surprises after the fact.

As a rough guide, tracked and fully insured:

• · Work on paper within France — typically €20–50
• · Work on paper within Europe — typically €35–80
• · Framed or larger works — typically €60–150
• · Outside Europe — quoted case by case

These are indications, not commitments — your written confirmation states the exact amount.

For deliveries outside the European Union, import duties or taxes may apply in the destination country and are the buyer's responsibility. ART4 tells you before the sale whether this concerns your delivery.

You may return a work within 14 days of delivery, no reason needed, in its original condition. Return shipping is arranged with ART4 — write to us first and we organise it together.
